A little bit of a funky smell at first, but doesn’t last. It goes on white at first so be sure to massage it into the skin thoroughly. Product says to wash hands after use – I only use a little water on the inside of my hands because I want the backs of my hands tan. Within a couple hours the color is noticeable and it’s buildable; I shower, apply, and apply again a few hours later. Used correctly, no streaks. I will purchase again. BTW: I use it at least 1 hour before going to the tanning bed and use my normal tanning lotion in the bed – A+ results!!

Just make sure you exfoliate and moisturize well before applying as you will see dark areas where the skin is dry and/or rough and if this happens, you will need to wait for the colour to fade before re-applying or it will get worse.

For some reason I decided I was going to take the advice of the influencers and try a different self tanner. I wasted my money and was back to this one. I have used it for four years now and love the color. I’m fairly pale and like that this is buildable and I’m not stuck with an area I messed up. I usually use for about 3 days in a row for the color I want then I’m good with not using it for about 4 days before reapplying. It is easy to use and goes in nicely.
There is a very slight scent when you put it in but it is not obvious later. I’m sensitive to scents (migraines) and this doesn’t bother me at all.

This product felt like lotion applying it. You have to wait up to 8 hours for your desired color, but it works very well. My only problem was that it does have an odd smell, so I would make sure to use it before going to bed and make sure you don’t have any plans. Overall, I did love the product.

I have used St. Tropez for a long time and thought I would give this product a try. I never experienced the orange tone and unevenness on my feet like this before. Some reviews said it didn’t smell like the typical self tan but this product certainly does. I even tried applying with the soft brush which was new to me as I had always used a mitt . Glad I only purchased the travel size , will go back to my other brand.
Since this review I thought maybe it was just in the application so i decided after a good exfoliation to give it another try . I had to physically remove it from my skin after about 3 days it was causing a little bump type rash and itching like crazy you can see in the photo where I’ve scratched the product off my skin because of the itching . My skin is not sensitive at all so not a good review from me and will have to throw it away .

Ive used it several times now on my legs and face. Seems to lighten with showering but didnt sweat off. Very slight color, not streaky, leaves my skin soft , no bad odor, even used it before bed didnt wake up blotchy.

I used this to darken up before a dance show and it did what I needed! It’s great that the ingredients are mostly natural and I only needed to apply it once to get several shades darker. The color was a little more on the orange sienna side but that’s to be expected on my pinkish skin. I got compliments nonetheless
