As a redhead who burns if the sun peaks from behind a cloud, this sunscreen is marvellous. Super easy to wear without reacting (did I mention redhead reactivity too). Works perfectly. Skin feels smooth and can easily put on makeup if desired after about 10 mins of letting it sink into skin. No burn even after hours in the sun.

Stays on well when used in water and under heavy perspiration, great coverage for a small amount used – just remember to reapply as you need.

This isn’t the thick white stuff you typically think of for sunscreen; this is a more light, runny, cloudy-clear formula that can run down your arm before you’ve had a chance to get it on, so be a bit careful trying to apply it.
It disappears easily into the skin, but it’s difficult to tell if you’ve applied enough. As a pasty-pale woman with skin that burns easily, I hoped that it would be enough, but I did end up getting a bit sunburnt on exposed skin (not very, but enough to be noticeable), so perhaps I didn’t apply enough. Next time I’ll apply more, I suppose.

I’ve heard good things about this brand, but unfortunately when I tried this sunscreen for the first time it made my skin red, a little puffy and tender! And I never even went into the sun.
I know I have sensitive skin, but regular sunscreen doesn’t give me a reaction.
Additionally I tried to return the product because of the poor results but Amazon directed me to the company’s website and the company never got back to me.

What you’d expect from a Shiseido sunscreen. I found it to be very water and sweat resistant, no white cast, and had a liquid consistency that made it easy to apply. I personally wouldn’t wear this under makeup, but rather reserve it for times when I know I’ll be in the sun for many hours, in and out of the water.

I was hesitant for the price of the product and how it would hold up to the Maui sun in Lāhaina. Surprisingly, it was really well. My skin absorbed it and I didn’t break out, it didn’t burn my mature skin and I didn’t not get any sunburn.
Several of my colleagues also agreed that it “smells expensive” and “feels expensive.”
I’m very pleased with the outcome and would recommend it to anyone willing to pay the hefty price for it.
