The quality of the product itself is good, it was difficult to find a vegan and cruelty-free benzol peroxide acne wash and I’m glad I found this product. I’ve been ordering the 8 fl oz bottle every ~6ish months for a couple of years, and in the past year or so I’ve noticed a decrease in the quality of the pump. For one of them, the tube was too long so it touched the bottom of the bottle, making it difficult to pump up the solution. I had to unscrew the top a little so it would work, but the pump started getting stuck in the down position. In my most recent bottle, everything was fine until I was packing for a trip and tried to lock the pump in the down position so that it wouldn’t leak in my bag (which would become a disaster because benzol peroxide bleaches fabric). I’ve done this successfully for every other bottle I’ve used and I know how to do it, but this time, upon attempting to lock the pump in the down position, the pump came completely apart. I tried to repair it but I didn’t have time, so I settled with securing a zip-lock bag around the top with a rubber band.

Humane reached out to me and sent me a couple replacement pumps for free, I am very grateful for their excellent customer service. They sent me 2 versions, both of which I’ve seen before: a teardrop shaped one and a coffin shaped one. The teardrop shaped pump still gets stuck in the down position, probably due to a vacuum that gets created, thats why the coffin shaped pump is currently on my bottle. The coffin shaped one is the kind that got busted last time. They both lock easily and without breaking, updating my review to 4 stars for their customer service, but I’m not confident in the quality of the pumps quite yet.

Out of all the benzoyl peroxide washes I’ve tried this one is the least drying and has been the most effective and really helped my acne. It is also good for body washing areas like arm pits to kill odor causing bacteria. Just MAKE SURE you wash it off after using. The way to use is to cleanse the desired areas with a gentle cleanser preferably, then put it on the desired area for about two minutes and then wash off completely with Luke warm water (not hot!)

I’ll keep trying it but I still see the red blemishes around my legs but it’s not that deep red it used to be, it feels less bumpy and smoother if that makes any sense? I’ll keep at it and see where it takes me ig 🙃

I purchased this product, as I had been using PCA’s 5% Benzoyl Peroxide acne wash for years, and the cost increased significantly, and I looked for another product to use. This is an excellent product – the only issue, is the pump mechanism doesn’t always work properly.

I have never written a review for anything so that says a lot. First thing first, I have extremely sensitive skin. Was searching for the best benzoyl peroxide cleanser to add to my routine. If you are anything like me, you will want to throw this wash out after the first week but you have to wait out the results. This wash made my skin purge so bad at first. I mean, there was not a spot on my face where there wasn’t a breakout but it was only noticeable close up or if I felt my face. It wasn’t normal red, irritated pimples; just congested pores. But the results are WORTH IT, I promise. By week 2 you will start to see minor changes and then week 3 is where the magic happened for me. I also use this with the humane mosturizer. Combined, it’s a staple for your skincare routine. I follow with 46spf sunscreen. Only use this product in the morning. At night, I use a gentle cleanser and a dermatologist prescribed retinol. Have some patience with this product bc it does work!

Works great. Use it on my back in the shower every other day.
The pumps have been terrible though. They clog and get stuck after several uses. It also leaves a lot at the bottom of the bottle. My recommendation is to just buy a travel bottle and pour it into there. No more clogs.

I’ve used benzoyl peroxide face wash for years and tried this one, which is a little stronger than my others. It works great and my skin is really smooth and blemish free.
