Firstly, I’m 28. I have plenty of fine lines, including around my eyes. I’ve noticed some crepey skin forming on my eyelids for the last year, specifically near the inner corners. When I apply concealer or eyeshadow, they’re noticeable and it takes some effort to blend makeup in. I have -diligently- used this device every other day or so for the last month. I wanted to give it a fair shot before writing this review.
While I have not yet noticed any differences in the lines under my eyes or elsewhere, I absolutely have noticed an increase in my eyelid elasticity. Just in the last couple of days I noticed that there are fewer lines to blend out there when I prep my eye with concealer.
I expect it to only get better and better over time, and to hopefully see a reduction in other lines. It’s definitely working. I think depending on your age and how you’ve treated your skin, it could take a bit longer to see results.
I love the pouch the mask comes with. It nicely fits the mask plus the charging cable, so I can keep it sanitarily stored in my nightstand.
My biggest question with this device is related to eye safety/health. Even though there are rubber eye pieces that insert into the mask, it is impossible to get it to sit in a way that I feel like my eyes are actually shielded. The best I can achieve is to let it sit on the underside of my brow bone, which is uncomfortable. I’ve started closing my eyes while using this because it just does not seem safe. If I keep my eyes open, my vision will be funky for 10+ minutes after, with light spots and color changes. I would love some clarity from Solawave on this. I know it’s been FDA cleared so it’s gotta be safe, but it just doesn’t /seem/ safe.
I also want to mention that I use tretinoin, which makes you VERY sensitive to UV damage. At the advice I’ve found online, I’ve just been using this mask on days I am not using tretinoin, or applying tretinoin after using this mask for the night. I haven’t experienced any irritation or issues from using these in the same routine. So if you’re a retinoid user, don’t worry at all. Tretinoin is like 50x stronger.
Overall, I’m impressed and very pleased, one month in. I’m stoked to see how my skin looks after a year of usage. I don’t expect to age in reverse, but I have high hopes that this will significantly slow my wrinkle development.

As a “Vine” reviewer, I get to order all kinds of stuff, like this.
I’ve ordered and reviewed both soft and hard, *full face* LED skin treatment masks, and, as much as I like the *idea* of them and the potential benefits, I don’t find myself using them that often.
Both of them have a cord that must be attached to the controller/battery pack while being used.
Not this.
One of the attributes that will make me more likely to use this.
This has a built in rechargeable battery.
A USB/C cord is included (no plug though).
This is a soft, pliable, wrap around piece; seems like silicone, but not sure.
The adjustable fabric strap in back is elasticized and is soft and comfortable.
This comes in a hard cardboard box that can be used for storage.
Inside that, along with the mask, soft eye pieces (you put them onto the mask/eye holes) and charging cord, is a storage bag and pretty detailed instruction manual, which tells you how often to use when you get started (3 minutes).
It also details potential benefits and side effects (temporary redness of skin, headache, etc.).
With the mask on and turned on, it turns on simply with a press of the button, you can see out the front, but even with it well secured on my face, there was light getting into my eyes.
Not blinding or anything, not painful, but it did sort of interfere with my vision.
Turned off automatically after 3 minutes; I can deal with the vision weirdness for that long.
Maybe I just need to lay back for 3 minutes and just close my eyes.
This appears to be of quality materials and workmanship.
Glad I ordered.
