I love my Dr Hauschka’s products! I’ve been using them for decades and they’ve really maintained the quality and wholesomeness of their products over time.
This ‘Soothing Day Lotion’ is a light facial moisturizer fluid that absorbs quickly and seems to really nourish and calm my skin. It has a very light rose scent that is sort of signature to their products. While I usually stick with fragrance-free products, I’m totally fine with this very natural, light scent and it all but fades completely away within 20 minutes anyway- so it’s really just like a brief aromatherapy session! The glass bottle is attractive, as well as suitable for travel since the pump lid locks with a small turn to the left. I really appreciate that nearly all of the ingredients are botanical and/or edible rather than a list of mysterious chemicals. It’s worth mentioning for those with allergen sensitivities- this particular product contains peanut oil and wheat bran extract.

I was recently diagnosed with rosacea and unfortunately since alcohol is the second ingredient listed, this product is a big no no for me. If you have rosacea or just sensitive skin, this probably isn’t a good product for you. I was enjoying it until I found out I couldn’t use it anymore. I’ll be gifting the rest of this to someone without sensitive skin to enjoy!

I’ve purchased Dr. Hauschka products for over ten years, but tried this particular lotion just recently. I find it soothing and moisturizing for my sensitive skin, without being greasy at all. I use this, then wear Dr. Hauschka tinted moisturizer over it. No foundation these days. Gives a natural, healthy glow. I’m in my mid 50’s.

I was looking for the moisturizer and was hoping this was it. After applying I could tell my skin was still very tight and dry. The description says it will sooth skin conditions like rosacea, which I have, however I haven’t used it enough to know if it helps. I will try it again however.

This is a very nice moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It doesn’t have a strong smell which I like. It also did not irritate my skin at all. I am not super familiar with this brand but I like this lotion enough to check out other products in this skincare line. Recommended!
