Not the kind of smell that I can tolerate. It also leaves skin very dry. You can get a typical body wash at fraction of cost of this and that will smell much better and moisturizes your skin.

I bought this because I have to reduce toxins for health reasons and it came it on the Yuka app as being 100 out of 100. First, it smells awful. Second, it says it is a face wash, but it burned my eyes horribly! And then it burned my skin as a body wash. I just used it and my skin is dry and itching. It feels like it suck all of the moisture out my skin. Terrible product. I do not recommend it.

Really liking this soap. It was only earlier this year that I learned about black soaps and their versatile nature.
This is a nice sized bottle that comes very well protected, so no issues upon arrival.
I love that this can be used for just about anything. Bring it on a trip and you have body soap, hand soap, and shampoo… good to go.
It’s got an interesting look. Using a soap that is black seems odd, but it’s pretty neat. It lathers well. The scent is faint. It cleans well without leaving my skin or hair feeling all dried out afterward.
It’s not cheap, but love that it’s all natural and you get a pretty big bottle.

I use Dr. Bronners brand but I ran into this one on a quick run to tjmaxx & this is just has good but is milder than Dr. Bronners.

This all-in-one product is a “winner-winner chicken dinner.” Amazon folks, seriously, this body wash smells absolutely wonderful. Starting at the beginning, this product came very well packaged, and as you can see, it even came with a protective seal on the bottle so that the product wouldn’t spill. It lathers up very well, and it doesn’t evaporate fast. Even after using it in the shower or bath, this body wash leaves your skin feeling well moisturized,it smells absolutely wonderful. I’m really big on all-in-one products, and just knowing that you can use this product not only as a body wash but as a face wash, for shaving, and as shampoo for the hair! I mean, seriously, I love it. Absolutely, I recommend this product. I love how this body wash will aid in moisturizing the skin, just in case you forgot to put on lotion, are too lazy to put on lotion, or are simply crunched for time. This body wash will pair well with an exfoliating body brush. I’ve yet to use it in my hair, but I can say that as far as my body is concerned, it’s a definite hit. If I had to describe the smell, I’d say it smells like lavender for sure; in fact, this specific bottle is lavender and clay sage. It gives me a very clean, earthy smell. The sage isn’t too overpowering, nor is the lavender; they complement each other quite well.
The presentation on the bottle is very nice, and the overall color scheme of the packaging is quite nice. The font size isn’t that bad either. The dark purple and black go very well together. This product is dermatologist-recommended and vegan-certified. This natural, plant-based, all-in-one black soap body wash is amazing. Yes, this liquid itself is indeed black; some may be uneasy by that, but I think it’s pretty interesting looking. Another thing worth mentioning is the QR code on the bottles. This bottle is 32 ounces, and it’s very affordable. So ladies and gentlemen, if you are into plant-based, multipurposeful products for the face, body, and hair, Dr. Jacob’s natural black soap body wash is a great product to start with. I recommend testing it out on a small area of yourself before applying it to your face, overall body, and hair. After all, everyone’s body is different. This multipurpose body wash comes in another fragrance as well. It’s a definite 5 stars for me. Amazon folks, please do yourselves a favor and grab yourselves a bottle of this multipurpose black soap before they become low on stock and run out completely. Hopefully, this helps Amazon folks!
