My brother started using this and insisted I try it for my leg cramps.. I used it for a few weeks and had no results. He said to take 2 in the morning and 2 at night, and eventually I noticed I was having fewer cramps. I used to have to get up several times a night with charley horses (in calf) and also the horrible cramps in my thigh. I got them in my feet, ankles, and sometimes my upper abdomen and arms. One night after dissolving the quinine pills (that are supposed to stop the cramp) under my tongue, I watched the clock until the muscles loosened. Eleven minutes of agony! After about 2 months of using turmeric, my leg cramps were greatly reduced. I’ve gone through several bottles now, and it’s still working. I frequently feel my muscles tightening up like they are going to cramp, but they usually dont reach the final excruciating stage. When they do reach that stage, it’s not as severe, and just walking around for a minute or two relieves it.
It also seems to be helping my arthritic knee a bit.
I bought some Theraworks several weeks after I started the turmeric, and was thrilled that when used as directed, the cramps stopped. Now I wonder if it would have worked if I hadn’t been taking the turmeric. This supplement is pricey, but so worth it to reduce pain to such a great extent.

Someone recommended me to take this for my diabetes. That person told me that this was the only thing that worked to help lower her blood sugar level. My A1C level was pretty high so I figured why not give it a try. Well I took this and other supplyments to help with my diabetes and it went down and then I stopped taking it because I didn’t think I needed to take it anymore but 3 months later I went back for another blood test and the results didn’t lower as much as it did when I took the tumeric so I knew that I had to reuse it again.

This product works. I’m a retired nurse of 50 year’s service. I have had 7 back surgeries and was on pain medication daily for 14 years.
The first week of taking Turmeric I started to taper off the narcotics. Six weeks later I’m completely off the narcotics. I’m now six months off the drugs and still doing awesome off the narcotics.
I still have pain but it’s manageable with IB and Tylenol.
I highly recommend this product, this brand.

This brand is consistently good. Always relaible and I feel pretty good when I take it. Actually, my husband won’t admit it but he suffers from all over body pain for a variety of reasons and this product works. He feels better and gets around without feeling like life is draining him. If only he would take it regularly, the two capsules per day isn’t asking much.

This product is amazing. In order for turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties to be absorbed it has to be coupled with black pepper and a fat. These pills have to formula down right.
I first started taking these during my pregnancy and has relief from my plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel within days. I wasn’t sure if it was the pills or just my body changing. About a month ago I decided to try them again, using a little bit of my leftover “stash” and starting seeing similar results. I also run and will sometimes double up on extra tough run days. These are absolutely wonderful for managing inflammation, and ultimately the pain associated with inflammation.

This turmeric/piperine blend worked for my inflammation for a spur on my hip and inflammation and tendinitis in my hip and knee. I’ve tried other brands, but this one did what an injection and 2400 mg Motrin daily could not. I didn’t actually realize it was working until I missed a day, and was left wondering why my pain was back up. After 4-5 months of daily use I was able to stop taking it every day without an increase in pain. But I’m keeping a bottle handy just in case. This will be what I use next time I have inflammation, instead of chemical commercial drugs!

After completing IV chemo for 6 months, followed by oral chemo for 2.5 years out of a prescribed 5-year regimen, I experienced terrific inflammation (swelling) in the affected areas, and extreme bone and muscle pain for the duration. I was left bedridden for nearly the 2.5 years and unable to sit, stand, or walk without screaming from pain and atrophied muscles. To combat the never-ending pain, I was prescribed Tramadol, Celebrex, and 800 mg of ibuprohen daily, which left me in a dopey, lethargic, and non-responsive condition, and unable to really do anything – a real zombie! And after 2.5 years of this, with little relief, I was so disheartened and thought I would never be pain-free again unless I used a heavier pain medication.
A friend I met in an earlier adaptive aquatics class shared with me her positive results in reducing pain and being able to participate in regular activities after using the turmeric contained in vegetable capsules, with no taste, and offered me several days’ worth to try the “youtheory” 1,000 mg turmeric product for relief. I figured something natural as the turmeric spice had to be better than the expensive and Zombie-producing results that provided little or short-term pain relief.
Over the course of the first 4 days in using the turmeric, I found I could get up without aid of someone helping me out of bed, or using a walker, or a cane – and no screaming! Over the next 6 days, I was able to stand up straight (no longer hunched over), also had chemo-induced constipation issues resolved to the point where I had surprisingly lost 10 pounds due to significantly reduced overall body swelling and inflammation. I threw away the drugs, and relied solely on the turmeric capsules twice a day.
It has been nearly 4 years now since I first started using the 1,000 mg vegetable capsule daily of the youtheory brand turmeric with bioprene (black pepper extract that helps the body to better absorb the turmeric properties).
I highly recommend that for those individuals who wish to rejoin the human race, reduce their pain, and stop being addicted to pain medication that truly can cause other issues to resolve, I challenge you to try this product for overall pain relief!
